Terms & Conditions General Terms and Conditions of Camp Northwind
For the sake of simplicity, we use the term customer for both genders in the terms and conditions.
Registration
By registering in writing, a contract is concluded between the customer and Camp Northwind. We recommend that you read the following terms and conditions carefully. It is advantageous to register as early as possible, as the number of participants is limited on all tours. However, you have the option of making a provisional reservation. The registration is considered definitive as soon as we have received the signed registration form or the registration has been confirmed in writing by Camp Northwind (letter or email).Prerequisites for participation
The prerequisite for participation in all events is a good physical and health condition. For the safety of all participants, the tour guide decides on participation in certain program items and makes changes if necessary. Participation in all tours is at your own risk.
When renting equipment, Camp Northwind only acts as a rental company and not as an organizer. For the rental of our equipment, our rental conditions apply, which are part of the rental contract.Terms of payment
4.1. PriceThe price to be paid results from the offer on the Internet (www.camp-northwind.se) or the specially prepared offer for the customer. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in SEK per person.4.2. Deposit and final paymentAfter receipt of the registration, the customer will receive a deposit invoice, which is also valid as a booking confirmation. The deposit is 20% of the total invoice, payable within 10 days. The balance must be received by Camp Northwind at least 30 days before the start of the trip. Failure to pay the deposit or balance on time will entitle Camp Northwind to refuse performance.4.3. Short-term bookingIn the case of short-term bookings (30 or less days before departure), the entire invoice amount must be paid at the time of conclusion of the contract.Price changes
In the following exceptional cases, Camp Northwind may have to increase the prices published on the Camp Northwind Internet:- Increase in transport costs- Newly introduced government taxes or fees- State-imposed price increases (e.g. VAT)- Exchange rate changes will announce the price increases to Camp Northwind as a result of the reasons mentioned above at least 21 days before the start of the trip. If the price increase is more than 10% of the advertised price, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract free of charge within 5 days of receipt of the corresponding notification.Cancellation conditions
6.1. Cancellation by the customerA cancellation must be made in writing and by registered mail. Up to 80 days before the start of the trip, the cancellation fee is 20% of the advertised price, but at least SEK 3000.00 per person. In the case of short-term cancellations, the following fees apply as a percentage of the package price:

The deadline is the date of receipt of the written cancellation. If the cancellation arrives on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the next working day is decisive.6.2. Cancellation by Camp NorthwindIt is at the discretion of Camp Northwind not to carry out travel due to insufficient participation, strikes, riots, force majeure, weather conditions, endangerment of the safety of participants or revocation of permits from government agencies. In this case, the customer will be refunded the amount paid in full. There is no further claim against Camp Northwind.6.3. Early returnIf a customer interrupts the trip early due to his or her own fault, there will be no refund of the unused services. The tour guide is entitled to exclude from the onward journey participants who do not comply with the rules of conduct required for safety and environmental protection reasons.Small groups
In order to carry out a trip, Camp Northwind needs the minimum number of participants specified on the Internet (www.camp-northwind.se ). In cases where fewer people have registered, a self-covering small group surcharge will be charged.Insurance
The package price does not include any insurance. We ask the customer to check whether they already have sufficient cancellation, return, health, accident or other insurance. We strongly recommend that all participants take out cancellation costs and SOS return insurance.Entry, visa and health regulations
The following passport and visa requirements currently apply to citizens of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein:- valid passport or valid identity card; - no vaccination requirements.Citizens of other countries are obliged to inquire about the applicable regulations at the relevant consulate. Travelers are responsible for complying with entry, visa and health regulations.Liability
10.1. GeneralCamp Northwind will reimburse the cancellation of agreed services or the additional costs incurred, insofar as it was not possible for the tour guide to offer an equivalent replacement service on site and there is also no fault of the customer. In any case, our liability is limited to the total price of the package price and only covers the direct damage.10.2. Limitation of LiabilityIf international agreements or national laws contain limitations on damages resulting from non-performance or improper performance, these limitations shall apply to the benefit of Camp Northwind. In this respect, Camp Northwind shall only be liable within the framework of such international agreements or national laws. DisclaimerCamp Northwind shall not be liable to the Customer if the non-performance or improper performance of the Agreement is due to: - the Customer's negligence; - to unforeseeable or unavoidable omissions of a third party who is not involved in the provision of the contractually agreed services; - to force majeure or to an event that Camp Northwind or a service provider could not foresee or avert despite all due care; - Bad weather and snow conditions and high temperatures (> 0°C) in winter, which endanger the safety of humans and animals. Camp Northwind is therefore not liable for changes in the itinerary due to strikes, riots, weather conditions, official measures, delays by third parties, etc. No liability is assumed for program changes due to schedule changes.10.4. Personal injuryCamp Northwind accepts liability for direct personal injury (personal injury, death) resulting from the non-performance or improper performance of the contract. International agreements and national laws are reserved (see No. 10.2.).10.5. Property and Financial DamageIn the event of property damage and financial damage that occurs during the trip with Camp Northwind, Camp Nprthwind assumes liability if Camp Northwind is at fault. However, liability remains limited to a maximum of the travel price paid and the direct damage. We reserve the right to lower liability limits resulting from international agreements and national laws (see Section 10.2).10.6. Local eventsCamp Northwind cannot accept any liability for bookings of activities and excursions at the destination that are not made by Camp Northwind.Complaints
11.1. Complaints about the trip
If the customer has cause for complaints, these must be reported immediately on the spot to Camp Northwind. If no remedy is possible, the customer must obtain confirmation from Camp Northwind that they have made a claim and why. The tour guide is obliged to record the facts and the complaint in writing.11.2. Registration of claimsThe complaint must be submitted in writing to Camp Northwind within 30 days of the contracted end of the trip. If these conditions are not complied with, any claim for damages will expire. After the expiry of the deadline, claims can be asserted if the customer was prevented from complying with the deadline through no fault of his own.11.3. Duty to cooperateThe customer must prevent the occurrence of damage as far as possible and keep any damage that has occurred to a minimum. In particular, the customer must draw Camp Northwind's attention to the risk of damage.Camp
Northwind also reserves the right to change programs or individual agreed services in the interest of the customer if unforeseen circumstances so require. In particular, Camp Northwind is not liable for changes in the travel program that are due to force majeure, official measures, strikes, weather conditions or delays of third parties for which Camp Northwind is not responsible. However, Camp Northwind will endeavour to provide equivalent substitute services.Responsible tour operator
