The quickest way to get to us in the north is by plane.  via Stockholm to Arvidsjaur, Luleå, Lycksele, Skellefteå or Umeå. You can then come to Sorsele either by bus or by rental car. We would be happy to help you find a travel option that suits you.

From Luxembourg airport you can also fly to Stockholm airport and from there to Arvidsjaur airport or Luleå airport 

Arvidsjaur Airport is approximately 1 hour's drive from Sorsele. Flight tickets can be booked directly via www.nordica.ee. 

During the winter season, Pro-Sky offers direct flights from Stuttgart, Germany to Arvidsjaur. These flights are available on Mondays, Fridays and also on Wednesdays in high season. These flights are available on Mondays, Fridays and sometimes on Wednesdays.

During the winter season, Eurowings operates direct flights from Germany (Düsseldorf) to Luleå two days a week.

 Luleå Airport is located 240 kilometers east of Sorsele and flights to Luleå can be booked with SAS or Norwegian.

Lycksele Airport is just under 150 kilometers from Sorsele. For the domestic flights Stockholm-Lycksele you can buy tickets at Amapola.nu.

Skelleftå Airport is located almost 220 kilometers southeast of Sorsele between Umeå and Luleå. Skellefteå can be booked through SAS.

Umeå Airport is 260 Kilometers southeast of Sorsele. Flights to Umeå can be booked with SAS or Norwegian.

At all airports it is possible to rent a car such as Herz, Sunnycars or Eurocar. The major rental companies have their own offices at all airports throughout Sweden. What ferry connections are there from Germany to Sweden?

There are also direct connections by car, camper or motorcycle from Germany to Sweden, which can be reached by ferry from Travemünde, Rostock, Kiel and Sassnitz. Travel times range from 2.5 hours to 15.5 hours. Some of these connections are night trips. Various ferry connections with the fast ferry from Puttgarden - Rodby and further across the Öresund Bridge to Malmö. The almost 9 km long Öresund Bridge (Swedish: Öresundsbron) connects Denmark with Sweden. If you travel to Sweden by car, using the Öresund Bridge is usually the fastest option: the journey from Copenhagen to Malmö over the bridge only takes 15 minutes. There are cheap combination tickets for the ferry trip to Denmark (Vogelfluglinie).  Ferries from Germany to Sweden currently run around 82 times per week. Stena Line, TT Line, and Finnlines operate the ferries with 5 routes to choose from.
